if you make things by hand or know of anyone who does, the gallery is based on the concept of a market or bazaar, but instead of getting up at 5am and tying a trestle table to your car you rent a space from as little as $20.00 per week (this includes insurance, advertising, promotion and handling) inside a fun, contemporary retail space

most markets charge over $30.00 for one car park space available once a week for up to 7 hours… with us, you are visible 6 days a week, 300 days per year

• the gallery is divided up into 90 different spaces and  individual glass cubicle display cases
• each cubicle has a lockable glass door
• each is priced according to visibility
• the choice is up to the artist
• each person's cube is named with the name of their choice, either theirs or their business name
• artists rent out a cube/space for a 3 month period (but only pay monthly) and can change their stock over and decorate their cube regularly
• when a piece is sold a card with information about the artist and their work is also given to the buyer for further promotion
• artists can also feature on the in.cube8r website free of charge
• the artist benefits greatly from the retail price as it is of their choosing and they get to pocket the lot without paying any commission or further fee

cubes and spaces

• if you rent a cube against the main wall, you are free to decorate the back glass wall. your cube is yours to do with as you like
• cubes come empty
• cube rental is like flat rental, you decorate it, maintain it and you know what happens inside it
• stock, inventory and refills are your responsibility
• the walls of the gallery are fuchsia, if you have a cube backing onto a wall, you may like to choose your own colour by using paper, fabric or a mirror
• prepare your blurb (if you want one), or whatever you would like to have in your cube or space about you and your work, this can be in a small picture frame or part of the back wall. people love a story 
  …a good story can sell a product
• prepare your business cards or whatever you would like given along side any items sold to further your promotion
• think about and organize the props you need to display your work
• with glass cubes, the floor space of your cube needs to be kept relatively clear for light to travel thru to your neighbour
• we supply bags and wrapping
• you supply price tags

when you come in to in.cube8r,
please bring:

• an ABN, if you have one
• banking details for payments
• payment for first month’s rental in advance upon cube/space commencement
• price tags big enough for a small barcode (3 x 1.5 cm)
• business/contact cards
