isy galey, x-nanny, kindergarten teacher, almost art teacher, glass blower and general girl friday , nurtured a dream for over a decade to open a top-notch but friendly and approachable gallery that is also a "one-stop shop" for all things hand-made in melbourne, a place that took no commission and a non-elitist approach.

she woke up one morning (after another nanny contract had ended, due to children growing up and going to school) and calculated that she had changed close to 25,000 nappies over the last 20 years, perhaps time to fulfil the dream!

she drove down to centerlink, signed up and also picked up a flyer for the NEIS program.

upon completeing the 7 week NEIS training, with a 50 page business plan in hand and well over 100 market research surveys, a grant was allocated and in.cube8r was born on july 12, 2007.

the response from melbourne artists, both established and emerging, has been fantastic. after only 7 weeks of being open, in.cube8r was full and a waiting list had begun.
